Training Ide Academy: Towards the exploitation of research results
Today we are going to talk about a training to be carried out in the week of 27 to 30 September, at the event FET DISRUPTIVE PROJECT IDEAS WEEK, entitled: Towards the exploitation of research results. This event we remember that it is a 4-day online course where the main technological trends for long-term R&D and social impact will be discussed.
This training has been created with the idea of helping researchers to effectively exploit the results of their research.
They mostly conduct publicly funded research. Although the innovation potential of their discovery is very high, researchers do not know how to turn these results into socioeconomic benefits, in addition to having doubts about how to identify a concrete application for their technology.
PARTS OF THE TRAINING: (Two parts of one hour)
1. The concept of exploitation will be discussed in the H2020 research project competition and shows how it differs from communication and dissemination.
2. In this second part, researchers get a first introduction to business know-how. In particular, the training delves into the concept of business recognition and market research and explains what exploitation and marketing are all about.
