RTDI gave the first webinar on “Revenue Modelling” to the winning and finalist projects of the 1st OPEN Call of INNOLABS

RTDI collaborates very closely with the INNOLABS project, whose conceptualization it helped to prepare, and since it was responsible for the preparation of the proposal submitted to the EC at the time.

As part of this collaboration, on December 15  we gave the first webinar to the winning and finalist projects of the 1st Open Call launched by the project (the next one opens in spring, and it is a good opportunity for start-ups at the intersection between Information and Communications Technologies and the Health sector – you can be up to date in www.innolabs.io).

The theme of the webinar was “Revenue Modelling”, to help projects define revenue generation models that are innovative and truly optimized to maximize the company’s growth.

Technology-based companies have long learned that technology brings a potential advantage in markets, but that it will hardly last more than 1-3 years. Companies really grow if they accompany product innovation with well-designed business models and a game-changing model factor. For this reason, the webinar reviewed in detail the different revenue generation models that have been designed, tested, implemented and validated in the last 20 years.

Next, 10 innovation forces in the revenue generation model were analyzed, which can help entrepreneurs identify where they start from and define where they would like to be, allowing them to choose between potential alternatives. They were introduced to our “revenue modelling framework”, our own tool to structure and guide decision-making processes around monetization plans and business growth. Other tools around this framework were also explored, to help them manage the context around this decision-making.

All of them belong to the environment that we have recently launched online, which is called INNOWIZARD (www.innowizard.eu).
