RTDI attends the 6th Technical Conference of the Scientific Diplomacy Network in Madrid
On March 14 RTDI as a member of the Euraxess Network, has approached the 6th Technical Conference of the Scientific Diplomacy Network in Madrid, under the special theme of “international scientific collaboration and arrival of foreign researchers in Spain”.
This meeting puts in contact staff of the embassies of other countries in Spain with those in charge of the hiring of human resources, management of research projects of public and private centers and universities. A very useful dialogue has been generated about the figures of Spain in science and its international collaborations, presented by Victoria Millor of FECYT.

Then a second block of papers on the EURAXESS Spain network has been opened, where the mobility guide to support researchers in its 2018 edition has been presented, and has been completed with an always complex topic such as visas for researchers from third countries and its relationship with the Entrepreneurs Law. Inmaculada Sedano, from the General Subdirectorate of Immigration, has given us keys to understand this new law.
Finally, Carmen Méndez, from Bizkaia Talent, shared with us a practical case of hosting foreign researchers in a Service Centre in the Basque Country belonging to the EURAXESS Spain Network. He stressed the importance of generating an ecosystem in which all social, scientific and political levels collaborate to attract the best.
From RTDI we are very committed to making it easier to attract talent to our country. Currently we have already helped several of our clients to obtain funding for the hiring of R&D&I research personnel and we have participated in their training in innovation, to continue growing together and improving the results in research and innovation of our clients. If you want to attract talent for your entity and improve your training you just have to contact us and we will tell you how to do it.
