Final meeting of the CrossCult Project, focused on the development of a platform of advanced technologies for the enjoyment of cultural and artistic heritage

The project CrossCult is a project funded by the European Commission through the European Framework Programme for R&D&I that aims to develop technologies that help citizens to better identify cultural and artistic heritage of their interest, get to know it and explore it in new ways. It is a project led by LIST (the Luxembourg Institute of Science and Technology), and carried out by a consortium is GVAM, a company specialized in Accessible Virtual Guides for Museums.

On January 16 and 17  they organized in Luxembourg the final meeting of the project, which revolved around the presentation of the results achieved and the preparations for its continuity over time. This task is led by GVAM with the support of RTDI, which is why  we accompany them on their journey.

CrossCult has developed a platform with innovative tools such as an app for the self-design of routes through a museum (depending on parameters such as age, physical condition and personal preferences), or another for the enrichment of a visit through the use of dedicated social networks. Under the leadership of GVAM and with the advice of RTDI, it is expected to be available on the market throughout this year 2019.
