Issued the ruling of the XI Edition of the SusChem-Young Chemical Researchers Awards 2019

The SusChem-Young Chemical Researchers Awards recognize and support the important work of Young Researchers in the Chemistry Sector in Spain, being awarded with an economic endowment and distributed in four categories: Futura, Innova, Predoc and Postdoc.

An expert jury gathered at the headquarters of the Business Federation of the Spanish Chemical Industry (FEIQUE), which represents the different fields of chemistry in Spain, has failed the tenth edition of the SusChem-Young Chemical Researchers awards.

This jury was constituted by Eva García Muntion, director at RTDI, (as representative of SusChem Spain)Gonzalo Jiménez-Osés (representing the Group of Young Chemical Researchers of the Royal Spanish Society of Chemistry RSEQ – JIQ), Josep Mota (representing the Business Federation of the Spanish Chemical Industry – Feique ), Carmen Cartagena (representing the National Association of Chemists and Chemical Engineers of Spain-ANQUE), Inmaculada Rodríguez (representing the General Council of Official Colleges of Chemists of Spain-CGCOQE), Mar Gómez (representing the Royal Spanish Society of Chemistry-RSEQ) and Jesús Torrecilla (representing Tecnalia Ventures).

The awards, which have been presented annually since 2009, are convened by the Sustainable Chemistry Technology Platform SusChem-Spain and the Group of Young Chemical Researchers of the Royal Spanish Society of Chemistry (JIQ-RSEQ). In addition, they are promoted in their four categories (Innova, Predoc, Postdoc and Futura) by the Business Federation of the Spanish Chemical Industry (FEIQUE), the National Association of Chemists and Chemical Engineers of Spain (ANQUE), the General Council of Official Colleges of Chemists of Spain (CGCOQE), the Royal Spanish Society of Chemistry (RSEQ), Tecnalia Ventures and the Chemistry and Society Forum.
