On October 17, RTDI participated in the EURAXIND Employers Workshop<\/strong>, organized by FECYT at its headquarters in Madrid to reflect on the best connection between research and researchers, and the industrial sector.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

RTDI was invited to participate as the first private entity in the EURAXESS Spain network,<\/strong> together with international professionals such as researchers, experts in entrepreneurship in the scientific-technological sector and representatives of public research organizations and private companies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the session, important topics such as Science in Society<\/strong>, the 4th Industrial Revolution<\/strong> and its implications were interactively addressed, successful examples of activities to increase engagement between industry and academia<\/strong>. Some tools and toolkits were also presented on topics such as commitment generation and career development<\/strong>, on which the members of the EURAXIND project are currently working.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The EURAXIND project,<\/strong><\/a> funded by the European Commission, was launched in May 2016. It is part of the EURAXESS initiative, which focuses on supporting research staff in aspects related to geographical mobility and professional development. EURAXIND works to unite the talent needs of the industry with the skills of researchers<\/strong> in order to support the possibility of pursuing careers beyond academia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At RTDI we have been building strong bridges<\/strong> between research, development and innovation<\/strong> skills  and the real needs of the industry  for more than a decade.  RTDI <\/a>Innovation<\/a> School<\/a> is the training division of RTDI. Through the “Professional R&I Project Builder”<\/strong> program and the Interactive Modules<\/strong>, students and institutions learn the management of R&D&I from within, building, with the help of their tutors and our method, a real project, which is presented to the European R&D&I framework program, Horizon 2020.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For RTDI the differentiated and quality training<\/strong> related to research and innovation is one of the basic pillars of our day to day. That is why participation in these workshops is extremely important to bring together positions between the academic and non-academic sector, institutions, companies and individuals that make up the international R & D & I system.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
