Workshop in R&D&I Project Management in collaboration with ITESO (Jesuit University of Guadalajara).

From the Direction of RTDI, we are proud to announce that, last Tuesday, May 4, we had the opportunity to organize a Workshop in R+D+i Project Management, with the students of the MBA in Business Administration of ITESO (Jesuit University of Guadalajara). This activity has been developed within the framework of Discovery Learning, a European project coordinated by RTDI.

The event took place during the Strategic Management class, taught by Carlos López Monsalvo, a professional with more than 25 years of experience as a consultant for companies in different business sectors, among which are: Telecommunications, Agriculture, pharmaceutical, services and manufacturing. Carlos has more than 10 years of experience as a professor at ITESO and shows a great interest in strategy and innovation.

The workshop was led by Eva García Muntión, Founding Partner of RTDI and Director of Studies in Integral Management of R+ D+ i of RTDI Innovation School, accompanied by Elena Solera Segura, Director of Studies in Advanced Technologies and Project Management of RTDI Innovation School and Margarita Blázquez, Head of the Business Development Area of RTDI Innovation School . In this event 16 attendees with multidisciplinary profiles participated, among which are: engineers of different specializations, business, commercial activities and Human Resources. Most of them have professional experience in various sectors such as Chemical, Pharmaceutical, Manufacturing, Industry, Software, Digital Communication and Consumer Affairs, among others.

During the session, Eva García presented to the attendees a series of contents that allowed to know more in depth the structure of the R + D + i projects and the main areas and functions in Project Management. To make this learning effective, the students were divided into working groups and asked to solve a series of activities related to the management of R + D + i projects, for their subsequent sharing.

Overall, the session received a positive response from attendees and the experience proved to be enriching for both parties.
